Kentucky Institute for Excellence in Behavioral Health (KIE)

The Institute for Excellence in Behavioral Health is a project funded by the Kentucky Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DBHDID) and housed within EKU’s Training Resource Center.  The Institute's mission is to support excellence in behavioral health service delivery by promoting evidence-based policies, programs and practices that will improve the health and well-being of Kentuckians.  The Institute provides services including fidelity monitoring of practice models, ongoing training, coaching and technical assistance.  The Institute also works to develop linkages with other University partners around practices that DBHDID has prioritized, prepare research and policy briefs and coordinate specialized training.
