Behavioral Health/Mental Health Initiatives: Training, Technical Assistance and Program Support

TRC partners with Kentucky’s Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DBHDID) to strengthen the state’s workforce charged with providing critical treatment, services, and support to individuals and families with behavioral and mental health needs.  Statewide evidence-based practice implementation support services (e.g., training, fidelity monitoring, technical assistance, and evaluation) and overall program support are delivered through the collaborative efforts of DBHDID and TRC.

Services provided through this partnership include:

  • Substance Abuse Prevention Training, Technical Assistance and Program Support
  • Substance Abuse Treatment Technical Assistance and Program Support
  • High Fidelity Wraparound program Implementation Support
  • Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Supported Employment Program Implementation Support
  • School-based Mental Health Initiative Support—Suicide Prevention
  • Data collection and evaluation for quality assurance
  • Training records management and reporting
  • Continuing education opportunities (conferences and events)
